 |  Services: Capital Air & Heat is an integrated mechanical contracting company providing the following construction services: Contracting and Construction The majority of our business is commercial and industrial cooling, heating, refrigeration and ventilation systems. We are geared for HVAC construction with a staff of experienced Project Managers, superintendents, construction crews, service technicians and subcontractors who can execute your construction project and maintain it after completion. Our capabilities and experience include the following:
Management Control Plan Construction projects will be under the management and coordination of the Project Manager, who will also be the client’s key contact for the project. The Project Manager will manage and coordinate design, work scope and client contractual relationships. The Project Manager will purchase and schedule all major equipment, schedule job progress and assume overall responsibility for project costs. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing change-orders. Work will not be undertaken without a written change-order. A superintendent will be responsible for daily coordination of construction operations, detailed scheduling, and all on-site crews. The superintendent will hold on-site job meetings with subcontractors. A set off master jobsite prints will be kept and marked with as-built changes. Design Capabilities Capital Air & Heat can design, specify and manage the installation of these systems on a turnkey basis. Our team will make a detailed analysis of your requirements and develop an environmental system tailored to your needs. Our Goal is to provide a high quality, functional and cost effective design. Testing and Certification Testing and certification is available on all Capital Air & Heat projects and is also available as a separate service. Experienced technicians, utilizing modern equipment, thoroughly evaluate your facility to ensure quality performance. Service and Maintenance Capital Air & Heat has an on-going commitment after your project is completed. Capital Air & Heat provides service for new and existing facilities. Our commercial service division is skilled in servicing and maintaining the latest equipment. We put a strong emphasis on training in order to keep up with our rapidly changing industry. In addition, our service department is able to design a custom preventative maintenance plan for your HVAC equipment to insure that you get the maximum operating efficiency and life out of your HVAC equipment. Commercial: New Construction Our commercial new construction division has a wide range of capabilities and experience ranging from small office build-outs to large manufacturing facilities, restaurants, surgical suites and multi-story buildings. We have experience in roof-top package units, DX split system equipment, chilled water systems, ventilation equipment, refrigeration, controls and advanced air filtration. Our in-house-staff is able to bid plan and spec jobs as well as having in-house design/build capabilities. When builders asked for higher operating efficiency, Capital Air was there with more efficient equipment, computerized heat load calculations and more efficient installation methods. When new building standards required more attention to indoor air quality, Capital Air was there with Energy Recovery Ventilators, UV sterilizers and advanced air filtration. Service & Retrofit The many new technical developments in residential air conditioning equipment in recent years have required service technicians to acquire skills that previously were unheard of in our industry. Our service technicians attend factory training classes on several major brands. They have all been certified in the proper handling of refrigerants to protect our environment.
